Wednesday Nights
Study: Trusting God - Even When Life Hurts- Author: Jerry Bridges

- Description: This 12-week series seeks to address the questions "Why is it easier to obey God than to trust Him?" and "Can we trust God?" As you begin to explore the scope of God's power over nations, nature, and the detailed lives of individuals, you'll begin to acknowledge His loving control. And as you come to know Him better, you'll find yourself trusting Him more completely - even when life hurts.
Thursday Mornings
Study: Precept Bible Study - Gospel of John, Part 2- Author: Kay Arthur
- Start Date: September 1 (This book will cover at least two semesters.)

- Description: Jesus draws His disciples aside to prepare them for what is to come. In chapters 12-21, learn about His death, burial, and resurrection, and their significance to your salvation. If you missed the study in John Part 1, you can still benefit greatly from this particular study.
- Study: Getting to the Heart of Parenting
- Author: Paul Tripp
- Start Date: September 8 - November 17
- Time: 9:30-11:30 a.m.

- Cost: There is no cost for this study.
- Leader: Cheryl Lange
- Description: Parenting is more than using your power to get children to behave in certain ways. Parenting is all about the exposure and change of your child's heart. When the heart of a child changes, the behavioral change that is needed will last. This is a great teaching tool for parents raising children from age toddler through teen. You will be given the key issue of focus and practical steps for achieving what is important at each particular stage of a child's growth and spiritual development. You will also receive help in identifying those places where you are in the way of what God is calling you to do by helping you to locate your own heart issues.
Childcare is provided (birth - Kindergarten), but you must register for it. To make a nursery reservation, please call Heather Hughes at the church office (722-2550).
