About Me:

I want to know God, personally, more and more. I've learned that God's Word is powerful and truly speaks to the deepest needs of the human heart. I love to teach His Word and try to apply it to my life, and help others apply it to their lives. I'm so grateful for my wife Kathy, and our children, Sandy, Jennifer, and Kevin. They are such special people to me.

After serving in one place for so many years, God has led me to appreciate the uniqueness of individuals. He constantly reveals new things about them, i.e., what He is doing in them and how He has made them in His image. I love to help people who struggle with life issues, and train people to bear each other's burdens, through our Stephen Ministry. I serve on our Missions Committee and direct our Annual Missions Festival. I teach a Sunday School Class called the Ark which started in 1992.

Kathy and I spent a month in Israel and Jordan last summer, studying at Jerusalem University College. It was an absolutely wonderful time together, and a great learning experience. For a number of years I have led a Tuesday night men's basketball outreach to our community. I played football and baseball at New Mexico State University, and have recently enjoyed reconnecting with some of my fellow teammates.
