AWANA stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" and is an organization that has been around for over 50 years!
AWANA is an excellent children's ministry that focuses on memorizing key Bible verses and learning essential Bible truths. It is presented in a fun, club approach with teaching, gym time, and snacks. AWANA at Metropolitan takes place on Wednesday nights at 6:45 PM througout the school year.

We are planning a lot of fun activities this year, such as Strange Shoe night, Inside Out night, Fall Festival, Store and other fun things.
